We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide exceptional hemodialysis treatment and care. The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical competencies, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in providing hemodialysis treatment and care. The selected nursing staff will provide direct patient care, oversee Dialysis Technicians and other support staff, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients
• Provide safe and appropriate hemodialysis care in accordance with the Patient Care Plan.
• Oversee Dialysis Technicians, CNA’s, and GNA’s, delegating tasks as per regulatory standards.
• Assess patient needs using the nursing process to provide effective and efficient care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, medication administration, and treatment procedures according to Maryland Nurse Practice Act policies.
• Manage and dispose of infectious waste following CDC guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Respond calmly and appropriately in crises, ensuring patient safety.
• Consult with nursing staff and other healthcare team members regarding patient care issues.
• Perform other related duties as required, adhering to all state and federal laws and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
• Attend mandatory in-service training, education, and certification programs.
• Abide by COMAR Title 10, Subtitle 27 Board of Nursing regulations.
• Commitment to professional appearance and a neat, clean demeanor.
• Capability to assess and respond to patient emergencies and crises in a timely manner.
• Ability to replace absent nursing staff within one (1) hour of call-out or no-show, if necessary.
