Join Our Team as a Private Duty Nurse (LPN)
Urgently hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one care for students in public school settings. This role is perfect for nurses with pediatric or critical care experience who are passionate about supporting children’s health and learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct nursing care to an assigned student during the school day.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor student health and respond to emergencies.
- Document all care provided and communicate with school staff and families.
- Support the student’s participation in classroom and school activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered LPN license
- 2+ years verified nursing experience in pediatrics and/or critical care (school health, pediatric clinic, ER, ICU).
- Current CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred). Not a fit if your experience is only in adult care, nursing homes, or unrelated healthcare settings.
Schedule:
- Typical school hours, Monday – Friday.
- May require accompanying the student on the school bus.
